Where to send head and jugs for resurface??
« on: April 07, 2020, 07:17:07 PM »
Hey all, I’ve got a 77 cb750a cylinder head and jugs that I need to send out to get the mating surfaces checked and resurfaced...  Are there any places you recommend for this??  I can’t find anyone locally that I really trust to do it. It’s the only thing holding me up on the engine.  Thanks.

I sent my 650 to Mike Rieck and he did a beautiful job. I had him do a bunch of performance stuff too. Highly recommended. Nothing against Hondaman of course but Mike is in my backyard and is known nationwide for these SOHC4’s for his work, including porting. Can’t go wrong with either though. I think Mike would be closer to you since he’s in Mass, so shipping would theoretically be faster and cheaper.

Mike is closer to you than me! I am in Colorado.
Before you bolt them back together, contact me for some thicker O-rings for those 2 oil passages so it won't leak. I send them out for donations to our website.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.
