Sandcast assembly line

Not exactly like the production line in Japan but I’m assembling three sandcast engines at the same time. With everything that’s going on with COVID-19 I have more free time than usual so what better than to do bike work. Overall it will take less time than doing them one at a time and it’s kind of fun especially when you get this far.

I believe that the wiring harness is top left. Now what about the right mirror?

Below the front fender in the upper left. There are some parts that I couldnt squeeze in though :)

You did not get enough of playing with sand as a kid?
Or the interest was born there? :D

Things like these make me to think about what I should have looked for and bought 35 years ago if I knew more about the future ;)
But we did not have that many of those early bikes here.

This is historical work, restoring to stock. Not cutting the sandcast frames building Cafe racers  or choppers ;)
