My bikes have been black for as long as I can remember so it was time to try something different.
Ok, ok, the Tiller is white/blue/ some other blue/black but before I bought it all my bikes were black  ::)

Take photos of each step is something I do to make sure afterwards when I'll get 2nd thoughts.
Like: The washer behind the primary hub in front of that bearing was there? Correct washers in clutch, correctly flipped... Or all o-rings in place or....?

I have taken apart things  just assembled to check too often.
I need a check list to check when the assembly auto pilot kicks in  ;)

Easy to miss when building with stray parts, not a complete working recently taken apart.
CMSNL charts and shop manual are nice readings.

I had extra parts on the bench I found afterwards that made me to worry that I had missed them in the recent assembly.

Yes, familiar with the tricks but really the biggest issue has been finding where all the stuff is in the 100m2 shop with four cars, around 14-15(could as well be 12, not all mine) motorcycles and quite a load of parts and all this has been moved to a different location four or five times while the CB engine has been apart ;D

Does anybody here have experience on Giuliari replica seats that are available nowadays? I found some for sale in Germany and some in Italy and was curious how well they fit? Don't want to spend hundreds of Euro's on sh1tty parts.

Tiller is ready to ride and Aermacchi is ready for classic racing so I have time to work on the CB now  ;D

I just reread this build. Very interesting.....
The stance of the rolling frame looks good. Does it sit a little taller than the stock 750 height clearance?

Thanks! I think it is slightly higher but the 17" wheels also make it look like that. Rear fender is about an inch higher than stock so that might be part of the illusion.
I measured rake and trail and it's around 27 degrees and about 4 inches of trail. I can play around with the figures a bit with the chain tensioners and adjustable length shocks I'll be using.
Racetech gold valves arrived a couple of days ago so it's time to pull the front end and do some work on that next.

I found a Giuliari seat in need of some work from Germany and bought it. I know this lady who does miracles with seats and furniture etc. so she can make it look nice and something that suits the candy green.

Mike said he has my gaskets waiting and they are on their way to me pretty soon so I can start putting the engine back together.
