Thank you for the info, to be fare i didn't really pay much attention to it. The main reason for the resto taking on a life of its own is because of an incident that happened whilst the engine was being painted. The guy doing the painting decided to sandblast the engine filling it with sand in the process, felt devastated at the time but because that happened the bike has ended up getting the attention it deserved. New wiring loom and full electronic ignition system from 4into1 this month.

Looks like you rebuilt the head.  Any porting or other performance work on it?

I had the head aqua blasted and rebuilt after I was advised to carry out a fuel test on the valves (turning the head upside down and filling the area around the valves with fuel to see if any leaked through). The fuel leaked straight through past the valves. I didn’t have it ported/polished because at the time I didn’t want to be ploughing too much money into it.

Just had another splurge on it though so fingers crossed I’ll be able to make some decent progress over the next three weeks.

Another few hours at it today. Took the rear master cylinder to bits (had to use a grease gun as it was seized solid) in readiness for next months brakes overhaul.

A few more jobs chalked off today including continuing the rear master cylinder refurb.

Starting to come together now. Had a bit of difficulty with the choke not operating correctly, turned out the choke plate on #4 carb was fouling on the body and making it stiff to operate. Fitted a few bits including the air filters (which at first were binding on the choke mechanism stopping it from operating), ignition switch and started fitting some of the electrical components (after testing). Best of all my lad came out to the garage for a few hours to help out.

Evening team, if possibles I would like some help identifying the type of exhaust I have for the CB, the only details on it are the name (Yoshimura) and D7H as pictured. I have contacted Yoshimura in the states and they have unfortunately been unable to help me. Please see the photos below for details.

Made a little more progress with the addiction of the fuses, indicator relay and an electronic regulator.

Going out on a limb here, but I'd say that exhaust is made in Japan by Yoshimura! 
And thats a good thing, they are a well respected company.

Happy days, thank you. The Cyclone 4into1 with an S type muffler is the closest thing I’ve found that looks like the same.
