I'm new to these bike, which should be apparent by my name
... The OEM rim size for my 81 CB750K DOHC
front is 19 x 1.85,
rear is 2.50 x 17.
Currently the rear came with a 130/90/17 and that fits is fine, and the front is a 100/90/19 which is also appears to fit great. I do a decent amount of riding on gravel and dirt trails, so I do like the Shinko 704/705 style tires (or any recommendations of a similar tire). I'm not going to put a set of TKC80s or some other big block 50/50 or 60/40 off road style tires on it, however.
The Shinko 704 705s come in the same size for my rear (130/90/17) which currently has no clearance issues,
but for the front the only size in that tire thats close is a 110/80-19. Which has me concerned that its too small a profile for the sidewall, and too wide a tire for that 1.85 rim.
I'm open to all input; I've seen threads with sizing charts for the pitch for rears, but have not found one for fronts. All feedback is appreciated. Trying not to do something dumb here.
