The Bike that started it all - My Triumph Thruxton
« on: April 22, 2020, 03:04:45 AM »
I got my first bike quite late, at the age of 26 if am not mistaken. It was a Triumph Thruxton in almost stock condition and with two previous owners. This bike started it all for me, my addiction to bikes and my love for changing parts myself and bulding your very own bike. This got me through quite some harsh times :)

Here are just some of the most recent pictures...

I made so many mistakes and learned so much during this build...Good times :) Of course it is not finished (which bike is haha), but i am proud about what i did so far. When i started, i knew about motorcycles, electronics, tools or what a torque means...(many broking bolts later^^).

Cheers and stay healthy

Friend of mine had the hots for one of those at one time but did not pull the trigger. You have any old Honda's currently ?  Looks like a nice curvy woodsy Austrian road for some nice riding !

As this Thread is for other bikes, i won't post any pictures of my 550er in it :) But if you want to have a look at it, here is the link: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,180184.0.html ;) Hope you enjoy it!

Lowered 30mm with Bitubo-10mm rear shocks for a Bonneville to help the lady reach the ground  :)
