Cracked rear brake cam pin SOLVED

Long story short, brake rod snapped the other day. Decided to change pads since I needed to be back there anyway and discovered the rear brake cam pin is cracked/bent. Now I'm having difficulty locating this part, Honda part number is 43141341020. However, I am able to find Honda 43141341000, for the 71-76. Does anyone know if the two parts are swappable? I can't discern any differences in pictures, thanks!

If its only the last 3 numbers different you should be fine

I did a little closer looking and the early ones look like they only have a center notch for lubrication while the one that came off mine has a spiral cut along the whole length, so I'm not sure if they will be the same lengthwise. I might just end up buying a used outer drum plate with the cam and arm if I can't find just the cam.

Those were the ones I looked at but the design is different. Here's a photo of the cam pin that came out sans the end I had to cut off because it was so bent it couldn't slide out of the hub. You can see the spiral cut on it.

Wow, that's the rustiest one I have ever seen!
I have several brake backing plates for the 71-76 (K1-K6), you could have one for postage if you want it.

It's not all rust! I think a lot of it is old caked brake dust. I went head and just ordered a rear hub with the pin and lever off Ebay, but I appreciate the offer.

Everytime I try to repair something on this bike, I find something new. At this point I think the only original pieces of the bike are the frame and the triple.

Quick update, got a whole rear assembly off fleabay from a 77 with 16k miles (it was sooooo shiny). Inatalled that, new EBC pads, new rod assembly, new castle nuts with new cotter pins and everything is perfect. Thanks again!

Oh and here are the two pins side by side. Can you guess which one has 16k miles vs 55k miles?

On all of my earlier model 750's I have much less threaded rod coming out the backside of the adjuster nut. Maybe its just the way I position the arm on the spindle as the is a notch or two leeway on that.
