Topic: Rickman cowl lenght

Hi everyone.
I have a Rickman seat fiberglass replica, but unfortunately it has some modifications. The end of it doesn't have the same shape that the original one has, as you can see in the picture. The end of the cowl on mine is totally flat. The problem is that I don't know if it has been shorten or some material has been add. Mine measures 25 cm from where the seat ends to the end of the cowl, but I would like to know if I should shorten it or add something to have the same shape as the original one. Could anyone with a Rickman seat measure it? Also, my cowl doesn't have the notch on the center for the sticker, it is flat, and I've never seen a Rickman seat in person, so I would like to know if that notch is the same width as the one in the tank.
Anyone with a Rickman cowl could measure that?

So my seat is 9 3/16” from the rear pad lip, to the start of the taper on the tail. Pad lip to tail light face is 10”. Make sense?

The recess in the top of the seat is 1.5” at the front and tapers consistently down to 1” at the back. The tank recess is a consistent 1.5”, front to back. Need more info?

Doing the maths, mine measures 10" (25,4 cm)from seat lip to rear light surface, the same as yours, so I only have to cut the taper, which was add when the fiberglass replica was made. As for the recess, with these measures I can replicate them on mine.
