ID shocks please
« on: April 30, 2020, 05:15:03 pm »
Got for my K2 but didn’t realize bottom mounting isn’t like stock.

Which bike they could go on and what is fair price for these ?
Thanks

What is the center-to-center distance of the eyes? Both my Seeley and FT 500 use that mounting style. As far as worth, parts are available for some Koni shocks, but not all models, so it's hard to say.

Nils would be able to identify them as far as model and if they are rebuild able.

Would be nice if they fit my CX... ;)

How good are the shafts ? They dont look real shiney.
I was surprised to see some  shock rebuild service recently that offered new shafts. And I think they were reasonable.

I wonder if the bottom eye is removable, since they came out clevis or eye, it would make sense in my humble opinion.

they can fit almost anything BUT sohc4s.... it was only honda that was making the "wrong" bottom mount. in swapmeets in italy, used pairs like these sell for around a 100.
