primary tensioner
« on: April 30, 2020, 12:36:07 AM »
HI guys. I have to replace the primary tensioner on 750 but as far as I see , their price is still high.
Is almost impossible to find one at less than 100 euros.
Anyone knows if there is any alternative?
There is a german dealer that replaces the wheel on the old tensioner but i'm not 100% confident because the original hub shaft coupling is made of steel on both sides, while the modification is going to make a shaft steel and plastic hub coupling.
May be new plastics are better and further the coupling is lubed but i'm little bit doubtful.
