Let me see your 77-78 cb750k seats!
« on: April 28, 2020, 01:49:30 am »
I love all CB750’s, but I cant seem to fall in love with the look of the 77-78 stock seats..

Any fellow K7 K8 owners have any pictures of their altered seat?

'78 seat on a '77. Much improved seat over any from '69 to '76.

I used to be the same way. I have a 77 but for whatever reason I like the earlier generation's seat better.

I think what it is for me, is the height of the bike. Stock height without any weight on it, seeing between the wheel and fender, and then the super long seat, idk ...

That was until I saw what the bike looked like with someone (myself) on it. I had my gf take a little video when I installed the exhaust. That was the first time seeing the bike "2nd hand" if that makes sense?

I think it will look even  better lowered an inch or two  8)
[I have no idea what I'm doing]

I’ve never modified mine. I do prefer the’77 (right) to the ‘78 (left). It’s flatter and I can move around on it. The K8 is more of a saddle and the rider is stuck in that spot....

Not a stock seat, it's a custom made with a repro seat pan made to OEM spec. Guy sells them on ebay. Made in vietnam, really happy with mine. Think its the same supplier as Texavina.
