XDA RACE CANCELED AT VMP
« on: April 30, 2020, 12:43:13 PM »
Well, here's another casualty of Covid 19. The XDA race scheduled for May at Virginia Motorsports Park has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.  They held out as long as they could in making the announcement but the governor of Virginia already had a June 12th date set to relax restrictions.  I suppose the track and the promoter were hoping something would change in the executive order.

The next scheduled race is now in June, back at MIR in Budds Creek Maryland.. Not certain what will happen then or if i will feel comfortable with going g to an event where folk will be coming in from hot spots all over. 2021 could be my next time out,  this stuff is not a hoax..

Maybe 2021 is the year for you and other racers to add Bonneville to the schedule..........it may be affordable if 2020 expenses are saved and budgeted...........I'm thinking we should have a rather large SOHC-4 contiguous pit. ;D ;D ;D

I suppose I would rather have a pantywaisted politician telling me to stay home for my safety, than a  politician giving me unsustainable medical advice to put me in harms way. People are dying at a rate that exceeds the common flu inspite of the twisted talking points floating about. This thing is real..  Stay safe now!!! We'll   race someday.

Several young and healthy has passed away here.

Let's hope for a vaccine for the masses so life can continue. The travel business hopefully healing for affordable flight tickets.

"Made in China" has got another face this year. Before mostly cheap low quality and sometimes hazardously knock-offs.
