I want to buy some new valves and don't want to pay oem Honda prices but would really like to buy good quality Made in Japan(not super cheap clones) intake and exhaust valves that truly are OEM QUALITY.The way they advertise this stuff online with Nice pics,etc.. tough to know what I'm buying. Any ideas ?

I think I have a new set of cyclex valves I didn’t use under my bed. I can check if you’re interested.

  • ... but some animals are more equal than others.
Try to find out the Mitsubishi parts number. A friend of mine has a yacht service business. Instead of ordering valves from the importer of a particular engine (forgot what brand it was), he ordered them from  Mitsubishi and saved costs. Good chance your original valves came from Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi is quality, just not sure where I would find a chart or reference to which part numbers I would require;I would do it most certainly as those would be very good valves.

Mike,
I was wondering about the Vesrah valves, are they just hard-faced like the oem Honda valves? or are they the same hard material all the way through ?
