New member in need of help!
« on: May 02, 2020, 01:01:07 PM »
Hey everyone,
I've been riding for several years and finally bit the bullet and bought a project bike.  I do not currently own a bike and am new to the sport.  I purchased an 81 CB650C to use as my first scrambler/cafe racer project and have run into an issue.  The bike came with nicely powder coated comstar's...with a 16" rear wheel.  I am having a terrible time locating any 16" dual sport style tires that match with the 19" front.  Anyone have any suggestions? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

The front is another comstar 19”. I believe the tires are 100/90-19. I cannot find a matching pair for the life of me!!!

Welcome from NE MN,

I have been running a 70/30 tire from Dunlop K70.  It does well on gravel roads.  Not the 60/40 or the 50/50 but if you don't go mudding works well.
