Jake,
If you can have the rings shipped to me in Tokyo I can get them to you.
Just a thought.....

Jake, if they’ve already been posted they will ship in a queue. They’re not accepting new shipments. At least that’s what I read... still waiting for my cruzinimage kit.

I placed my order in mid-april and it never moved once handed over to Japan Post. So to anyone else waiting on something from cruzin image, I would assume the same.

Kevin, that would be awesome, I actually got the Yamiya newsletter today that stated that they can circumvent the halt by shipping items UPS. unfortunately my item was already submitted to Japan Post a long time ago but before the halt was announced.

I could get around this perhaps by ordering ANOTHER set and having it shipped UPS or through a friend. But not sure if I would rather spend another $50 or just wait another month.

I ordered from Yamiya and they sent it to Japan Post April 16. Looks like I'm out of luck for the time being.
I sent Yamiya a message to see what they will do.

I ordered a primary chain tensioner. Paid plenty for postage. After a month the Japanese post office returned it to Yamaya and I just paid another $32 to have it sent UPS. Hope it gets here in my lifetime.

Not sure what EMS is but they are saying up to 4 months for things to get through. I've emailed cruzin image twice trying to get him to reclaim the package and send it via UPS but it seems like he doesn't always understand what I'm saying.

Yamiya just went and got my package back from Japan Post since they suspended shipping. They offered to let me cancel the order which I did.
I have ordered through David Silver
We'll see what happens.
Yamiya is really great, I love working with them.

I just received a text from DHL letting me know the items I bought yesterday from Webike will arrive tomorrow. Two days from Japan to Massachusetts and postage was their version of priority mail (not the faster, expensive express service). I guess DHL is not affected to the same degree as Japan Post. If you're ordering from a company in Japan, you might try asking them to use DHL or other private carrier.

Yeah, I have asked Cruzin to do the same but the first time he acted like he missed my meaning, second time just didn't reply. Emailed him again today.

I ordered from CI 8 days ago, and yesterday it showed up (unexpectedly!) via DHL at my house. I thought it would take forever, but didn't.

In early April I ordered some parts from Yamiya (who provide excellent service every time), bearing in mind I live in New Zealand. They advised me that Japan Post would not send the parts but UPS would. In the period it took for the parts to arrive (about 2 weeks) they went from Japan to China to Singapore, back to China, back to Japan, then to China again, on to Alaska, California, Australia and then finally to NZ.
I only paid US$20 for the shipping so I don't think they made any money out of me !

I just received a full refund from CI. No email response yet, maybe he will have me reorder and then ship via DHL like he did for Mark?

First time ever I got a shipment of a part bought at eBay USA by UPS that visited my house for delivery last week.
Relatively quick shipment, ordered April 26, delivery May 7.

Soon shipping by boat? Must be virus safe since it can take 6 weeks.
But from Japan to US west coast must be rather quick....

He has always been good to deal with (at least, with me?). I have bought almost 40 piston kits from him since 2010, I think. Once I got a (65mm) piston with a defect and e-mailed him about it: he sent another whole kit (rings, pin and all) in 2 days(!).
