Maui, there were 6 shiny new bikes there that weekend, but no photo of them all.
Gold CB350, Blue CL350, Gold CB450, Kaw 500, Suzy 750, My K1 750
I made the mistake of taking a pocket instamatic on my earlier cross-country trip but had a new Yashica something or other for this photo. Dumb 18yr old mistakes. ::)

Hey Eric, I can't quite get this photo here and maybe you have already seen it, but I think you will like it: My K1 and my pals brand new Suzuki GT 750. Memorial Day 1972. Chuck and I were the advance group for our biking/camping weekend at Sleeping Bear. The photo is tucked in on the last page of the Member Gallery, or by this link.

Great bikes-great picture and one of the nicest places in Michigan to still ride. Sure it was even much better back then when the area was still a little more rustic. Hopefully you rode at the front of the pack Kevin and kept those smokers behind you  ;D

I was pumping gas, working evenings and weekends, at a “Supertest” Station. I was 17-18 and I had an older Triumph T100 (500cc, single carb, Purple). A guy pulled in with a blue K0 (or K1). I was just stunned. My next bike was a cb550K, but cars became the major distraction.

From 1979-84 I raced in a Canadian, national show room stock series, The Honda/ Michelin Challenge. Our major sponsor (the dealers really got into it in Ontario and Quebec) was just north of Toronto. We worked on the two team cars at the dealership, several nights, every week. One night there was a really clean, almost new cb750K7, in the wash bay. Some guy traded it in on a new Civic! The owner really didn’t want it around....... I think I paid $300 for it, and still have it!
