Trying to figure out a direction.🤔
« on: May 05, 2020, 05:17:57 PM »
Well, I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this bike. It's a '74, the motor turns and it's got ok rims, a decent tank and forks.
It also has no paperwork, and the wiring is toast.
I've found a '73 frame with a title, and a dual disc front end in Tacoma.
First thing is figure out if it has oil pressure.
Next, try and make it run.
I'm leaning towards Bratstyle, but would probably be ok with a 70's treatment with cheesy backrest with a milk crate top case.😁 We'll see what happens.
I'm partial to bratstyle as my CB650 ended up that way.

How about a vintage track bike if this is an extra bike.  Keep the rewire simple.  Save the titled frame.  Use the dual disc front end.  Look up my buddy Ian Halcott in Ellensburg for a seat: https://twinlinemotorcycles.com/

Ride the piss out of it at the track.
