Topic: 7 inch to 5.75 inch headlight

Hey there everyone first post here. I acquired a 1976 CB750F a while back and have been having fun getting it running and planning mods for it. One question I have is headlight sizing. Stock the 750 came with a 7 inch headlight, but for my build I was kinda looking into running a 5.75 inch headlight. The only worry (which might be a stupid one) is that the forks/fork mounts will be angled weird or otherwise won't mount correctly. Has anyone downgraded their headlight size? Honestly I might just be overthinking this whole thing

I haven't installed a smaller headlight but have fit a 5.75 inch bulb inside a bucket and rim made for a 5.something " stock bulb.I was thinking you could possibly add spacers on either side,make them look better with turn signals coming out of the headlight mounting?
