I have a 1981 CB650 standard that I'm attempting a cafe racer build on. I am looking for possibly swapping out the gas tank. Mind you that the 81 frame has the "seat dent" in it. I understand that it may be necessary to make an extra bracket for the seat to mount on but I don't mind doing that. Im really interested in the 75-78 CB750F tanks! anybody know if this has been done before and does anyone have a 750F tank in good condition??
