CB550 Hindle compatibility
« on: May 13, 2020, 05:47:11 PM »
I’m looking at picking up a CB550F hindle exhaust abd I’m wondering if it will have any interference fit problems. I’m building a cafe with a cb500k frame and a cb550k motor and like the low profile of the hindle 4-2-1. Thanks guys for any advise you can offer. I’m a machinist so if it’s minor fitting like mixing the brake peddle or adding/removing mounting tabs that’s no problem.

All the 500 and the 550 Ko to K2 frames and pedals are the same but 550 K3 and i thinF have different brake pedals and i think pivots so not sure is the answer

also on some frames the kickstand mount is at the front of the lower tube of the cradle, others at the back. worst case you might have to move it (which means fabbing a new one and weld it in place).
i'd assume you can check with hindle about fitment?

On the Hindle web site, they differentiate between the K and F header. Use the header that fits your frame.
Keep in mind that prices are in Canadian $.. Discount the price 30% to get the equivalent in USD.
