Topic: 78 CB750K turn signals

On my 78 CB750K I’m troubleshooting turn signals and why they don’t work. The lights come on but don’t flash. I’ve replaced relay twice and nothing changes , except that the three prong relay hooked to ground works for a few seconds and then blows the fuse. I’ve traced wire connections and they seem correct.  Any suggestions?

I distinctly remember having this exact same symptom when I was working on my wiring a year or so ago. (I'm a newb so I blew through a whole box of fuses troubleshooting ) I believe the problem was something kept shorting to ground somewhere that shouldn't have been. But I'll wait for someone who's more experienced to chime in.
