CB750 crankshaft oil seal - no lip on seal aftermarket
« on: May 24, 2020, 03:43:13 AM »
Hi all, purchased an oil seal kit, about to Honda bond it all up and noticed that the crankshaft oil seal doesn't have the lip that fits in the groove to keep it in place. Part number 91201-300-003.

Should I use it or go genuine? Anyone else noticed these or used these seals and any issues leaking or coming out?

It should have a metal washer on inside too.
If this seal is wrong part, it can cause huge oil leak and PITA to fix.
