1980 cb650 pd carb question.

With these carbs, can you remove the slide needle without separating the carbs?  If so, what is the procedure?  I’m in the process of cleaning, setting, want to make sure proper needle and setting as she is running rich.

Negative. Carbs must be separated to remove the slides from the shaft going across the carbs and from there you can remove the whole slide and in there is a screw to remove the needles and disassemble.

BTW I should add that the needles on these carbs are not adjustable as the clip is fixed.
