500 K0 Points WIring Sequence
«

Before I fire up my engine (again), I would like to ask if I have the wiring to the points in the correct sequence.
Left: Nut, Green, Insulator, Blue
Right: Nut, Green, Insulator, Yellow
Is this correct, please?

The insulator should insulate, so goes on the inside. The sequence of blue (or yellow) and green is up to you. Just make sure the forked connectors do not accidentally contact the plates.

Thank you for your quick reply. I will go out and hook up some fuel again and give it a try.

Nut
Spring washer
Plain washer
Condenser lead
Yellow(or Blue)
Insulator washer
Fixed post
Indulator washer(should be top hat shaped to fit in hole of fixed post
Spring from contact set
Plain washer
Bolt head
Hope that helps
Basically the contact spring fitted to moving contact needs to electrically contact the condenser and wire to coil but not touch ground
