1919 Harley Davidson 19F Side Car Rig.
« on: May 19, 2020, 04:55:00 PM »
I’m selling a WW1 US Army Harley Davidson, for a friend. Interested? Check my ad on EBay. It’s the only one. Bidding has started, so looks like it will sell! Next will be his 1918 BSA. It’s a stunner!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1919-Harley-Davidson-19F-with-Side-Car-1919-Harley-Davidson-19F/124192593171

Bidding has started. I will list the 1917 BSA afterwards, followed by three 1915-18 Douglas, Wanderer, NSU, Triumph Model H (see me riding it in Photo), and Cleveland. Matchless/JAP and Excelsior have SOLD.

If you look at the back of the photo, there are two Dodge Staff cars for sale, also a Nash truck and two Model T Ford Ambulances. Sad to see the collection go, but my friend’s wife is not well (he’s 10 years older than me) and the farm and out buildings are a lot to keep up with........

Look’s like my friend’s Harley will sell. Almost two days remain and there are 10 bids already. It amazes me the volume of interest a vintage Harley Davidsons generates. Over 1600 views of the ad and 167 “watchers”. Wow!

Frank..... sold, but looks like the high bidder is a flake. No deposit, no responses, no class! Hopefully one of the other bidders will still be interested.

I see the high bidder only has 2 feedbacks. Always a bit of a hassle when they back out though.I have not had very good luck with back up bidders on antiques that I sell. I think they think I had a shill bidder working or something. Your bike though is a lot more powerful item, hopefully the back up bidder will be pleased.

EBay is “investigating” but the low feedback is suspicious. Been a member since 2016 though.....

The new owner showed up today, with payment and a trailer. Phew! This was Bill’s most valuable investment and he made a few bucks! Seven more to sell.......

That's good news and you also don't have to worry about dealing with a shipper and the problems that could come from that.

So true! The gentleman has a really lovely collection, on display at the side of his very popular pub/ restaurant. Only an hour east of me. Great outcome!
