Yeah im thinking of keeping the original rear hub and purchasing a new 18" rim from 4into1 or vintage cb750 or something.. and then the appropriate length spokes for that connection to work...

what size dimensions should i go with? 18" x 2.15 ? i want to run a 130 wide tire at least.

I wouldn’t run a 130 on a stock 18” rim. I do believe it will fit but it is like the absolute largest size that will. The tire will wear bad and feel squirrelly in the turns. Stock is 110 (pizza cutter). I ran a 120 for awhile and it wore out the middle of the tread in no time. It like squared off and felt iffy in the turns. If you want a fatter tire you need a wider rim.
