Just bought a 77 400F today.  1.6k miles and perfect.  Spent most of its life with two collectors.  Needs tires of course (and front brake system rebuild). Did a search for what tires folks are using and sizes and have a few questions.  I will be riding this bike probably 1k+ miles per year.

Really like Avon Roadrunners and have them on my classic BMW airheads.

The front tire recommendation seems to be 90/90-18 but the rear is confusing me.

The 100/90-18 rear is pretty hard to come by but folks say it fits fine.  The 110/90-18 rear seems to have better availability but does that size clear the swing arm/chain?

Any other brand/tire or size thoughts?

Bridgestone Battlax BT45 for my 400FOUR. Love ‘em. Rear wears out faster than Dunlop, but the grip makes it fun to tear around turns.

Wow! Congratulations on the new F2 400F!
Is itCandy Anteres Red or Parakeet Yellow? US spec? Lets see some pictures :-)

I have both sizes on my rear wheel, Avon Road Runners 100/90/18 and Avon Super Venom 110/90/18 on two 400F's with no fitting issues.
I can't really recommend one tire over the other as I rarely ride the one with the Super Venoms. But I hope to change that soon.
