is anyone else having this problem?

I have two bikes both with munit blue and since the past 2 updates they no longer like to connect to my phone. it seems the most reject update, just a day or two ago, has made it even worse. I am having to disconnect the munit and reconnect it to get it to restart.

any insight would be great

Possibly uninstall the app, power cycle your phone, then do a fresh reload of the app, power cycle your phone and give it a shot? There could have been some simple corruption that had caused the recent update to break the app for you.

Don't mean to hijack but similar issue, been experiencing issues with app connectivity. The BT connection usually  connects within keyless go range, so I'm able to start my bike but strangely the m ride app doesn't always pair up with the m unit even though BT is connected.

A bit annoying since it makes the app somewhat useless if it's not actually logging miles ridden, trips, and all the other cool functions and features it has.

Usually after awhile the app will eventually pair up with the m unit but there's no other way for me to make it pair up like restarting phone or the app. I've already reinstalled the app and deleted the profile and reset the m unit itself, not sure if anyone else is having this issue or have any solutions?

I am still having connection issues. I was hoping that the latest firmware would resolve the issue. Now what I am getting is a hardware pairing notification sometimes twice a day. Very frustrating as it defeats the purpose of the app and the blue functions entirely. Did you ever get your issue resolved??

I feel your pain, sometimes I wish I never upgraded to the blue and kept my simple, reliable old m unit v2 lol. Though the latest update and firmware seems to have fixed most of my connectivity issues...for now. (*knocks on wood*) Still in testing phase as they just updated it earlier this week, mine usually loses connectivity for good after a few days and so far I want to say I've only had one time where it didn't connect right away but did connect.

Strange both of your M-unit blue have the same hardware pairing issue's. Maybe you can find another phone to test and start ruling things out, that's going to be my next step if I am still having issues. Also, make sure your app version is 1.4.0, seems like they had a few updates in the last week or two.
