Exhaust compatibility CB750 k3 / F2
« on: July 05, 2020, 04:19:01 AM »
Hi all, Starting to look into exhaust options for my 750 K3 bobber and have come across a complete Motad 4-1 that was off a sohc F2 apparently.

Question is would it be compatible with my K3? Not worried about the frame bracket too much as will have to fab something anyway as the rear frame section has been chopped. More the fitting to the head ports.

Any help much appreciated guys :)

Yes if you fit the earlier exhaust stubs if required straight on if not

Thanks Brianj. I have some stubs as they came to me but they've been made up and don't have the flange... I have the original finned clamp flanges with the single bolt.

Here's a pic of the Motad exhaust

Cheers

That looks like it should fit with the clamps with two studs/bolts into the head not the stubs

Nice that it came with the split collars. Studs in the head and the proper finned clamps and it should work. Not the early K style clamp with one bolt at the bottom.
