Yes everything is very tight will the cam I've  got mm space for the cam chain. The engine was totally removed and had to split the 400 bottom end for the 650 crank it's all very tight

I was wrong then, this post on your "street fighter" thread made is sound like it was a 650 crank in a 400 case. And no I didn't notice the forks, old conventional forks all look the same to me lol I never look. And alan I think that was towards me because ive been a bit of a wiseass admittedly.
I just want to know the story here because theres been so such little explanation and posting in weird sections

Yes the multiple cross-posting from someone we just met was a little off-putting. No need to search for glory here, if your bike is cool enough glory will find you eventually.

exactly, like we're arg... well I'm arguing about engine combination in the body/cosmetic section lol
You've been super vague hill and it makes everyone, or at least me doubt what you're saying. (Like the people claiming 90hp out of 650s with no dyno graphs, I get doubtful lol)

The 90hp part wasn't about you, I've seen like 3 people claim 90hp out of their 650s but every time I've asked for details and dyno graphs but all ive ever gotten was "someone else built it" and silence. I was just tossing that in as an example of why I was being a wiseass

I believe he meant the plural of cb650. We are two peoples alienated by a common language or something like that....

I'd suppose you'd want the stock 650 ignition, at least in the beginning. But as you both know on a 650 you don't have points but rather an electronic ignition pickup. Timing advance is done with a mechanical advancer. This affords you several options, have a look at this thread:

Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.
So he worked out the entire bike but didn't assemble?
What an inheritance that is. It's good that you have the understanding, ability and resources to complete this.
Here in the States so many unfinished projects are sold for pennies or just for scrap by family members who don't understand the value or are just looking to recoup final expenses.

I just wanted to see the parts mannnnnn!! How it was all fit and all that jazz. I should probably just shut up already.
Seriously though, just make a build thread in the project shop, show off what pops did. I'll follow it and I promise ill do so quietly too.
Also I ran the GM HEI ignition. (4 pin HEI modules and chevywastespark coils) It was a nightmare and as far as I can tell, not really possible now unless you got junkyard modules. I think my problem killing modules and coils came down to the aftermarket versions no longer using the Motorola processors to control dwell time and resulting in wayyyyyy too much heat and problems at higher RPMS until the coils or modules failed. Member davebarber makes an adapter to retrofit a dyna kit on. Go that route if anything.

Pilot jets are a going to be a number between like 35 and 45 with the PD carbs
You really won't be able to tell until you can get it running and do plug chops or use a wideband. Anyone trying to recommend jet sizes would be just throwing out wild guesses based on your build being out of the ordinary and not having something to compare it to

It had 105s in I found some paper work for some parts that my dad put on it for tune up kit for the carbs and a race ignition. When I search the number on honda Web sit I comes up honda unknown

you said you know these bikes but yet you not noticed 750 k forks and front wheel and you got the year wrong it's a 79 not 82.
That style fork and comstar wheel were Never used on any SOHC 750 K model. ???
