Topic: Looking for what online resources are available for a Yamaha radian yx600

Just picked up a 1986 Yamaha radian 600. Does anyone know if there is an online forum similar to SOHC/4 but for bikes similar to the Yamaha radian? Thanks Guys!

 Do those have the 5 valve per cylinder engines ? If so a repair shop owner friend of mine was pulling his hair out trying to do the valves on those    If I remember he couldn't find shims.

 I built one a few years ago.  I'll try to dig up some pics.
 The engine is essentially a detuned FJ600 engine, which is essentially the same as the XJ family.

No answer to your question, but neat bike.  Did some work on a friend’s, many years ago. Couldn't Believe how quick it was!

I just googled this bike and the top speed is listed as 125 or 128 mph.

Not a bad looking bike, round headlight conversion and it shouldook pretty sweet.

 Dug up some pics of mine. This was 7 or 8 years ago but, from what I remember, I added Rizoma bars and a Danmoto Nano dash. It had smaller turn signals and I used reverse cone mufflers on the stock headers (sounded great). I used the stock rear fender bits and modded them for a bit of a tail tidy. I converted to a round headlight and lowered it a bit to accent the stock lines. Paint was a Toyota or Nissan dark blue.
