Cheaper, because it’s not a K0. I’ve been watching for a good deal on one, and based on what I’ve seen on eBay over the last year I think this will go for over $8,000.

The blude K0 looks more appealing to me.  You can't go wrong with a k0 as an investment and for pure enjoyment.  Just wondering what the taxes are on used motorcycles in Denmark.  I heard that taxes on new cars are extremely high.

Update:
Put the XVS 1300 up for sale. Have two guys interested, one of them VERY much. He's looking at it on Wednesday.
Went to look at the two K0's (both restored).

The gold had a broken glass on the speedo and a weird oil filter bolt (and not my favourite colour).

The Candy Blue Green had been sitting for a couple of years. Gunky tank and probably carbs. Had a tiny leak that I need to inspect further and a crappy repro seat. Close numbers in the 18000's. Both are repro kits.
Price is reasonable.

He also had a STUNNING red K1

If everything clicks, then I'll probably run with the blue K0.
Let's see what happens
Weren't the KO's plastic lenses on the gauges or was that only sandcast bikes?

Still in "purchasing K0" mode.

Was wondering...
The bike I'm looking at has been sitting for 2 years.
Should I lubricate the pistons before turning it over?
Magic Mystery Oil is not available in Denmark. Can I just give it a squirt of regular engine oil?

On new motorcycles taxes are 180%  ;D
However I've heard about people importing veteran bikes (over 35 years) and tax was 0 (within Europe).
Outside Europe everything is plus 25%

All K0 used same instruments.

Thanks.
Yeah, well - In Denmark a motorcycle is the expensive toy  ;D

Didn't buy it yet but thinking about dumping the price on the Yammie because I really want a Four again.
I have 18 people interested in it though, so I should be able to sell it  ;D

I have seen a K0 with a cracked lens, also owned a K0 with a set of full K1 gauges on it. After 50 years anything is possible.

I talked him into selling the Candy Gold K0 after all. Anyone knows which K0 handlebars are the lowest and narrowest? (part number) These are huge

Looks good!  Agreed, those handle bars look too high, go with the Euro spec or Superbars.

Taillight is huge too.

Reading through this post and looking up parts prices, I am beginning to think it is too much for me to restore my diecast K0  :-[

Even though my 1st K1 is almost done, it is taking up too much resources. The good news is I have enough leftover parts to do my 2nd K1(JDM). But the K0 is a whole new ball game
