Scott, I thought I knew that name from somewhere but with my messed up memory, it was difficult.
I think I met Vern on that first relay, probably at Rockingham NC.

The glamour shot is what got her the nomination. ;) The vote was more swayed by the history, at least for me. IIRC, she was acting up before the relay, (which was later found to be a failed Dyna S??) so you took your wife's car as a support vehicle, and the water pump failed!?? >:( ;D ;D
