HPC on old exhaust

I've searched this one and only two seem to have been done but there must be more. What results have you had?
Rumour has it, at least in USA, there is a lifetime guarantee it won't rust. You'd think it would be more popular.

I had an old 4-1 HPC'ed. The result was quite good and has lasted, considering that the headers were pock-marked by rust prior to the HPC treatment, the collector are where the 4 go into one was thinnish through rust as well.
The finish on gthe megga part was good.
They told me at the time it may not last.  They blast the pipe clean prior to applying the ceramic coat, but that still leaves potential rust inside the pipes which will eventually roth them out. But if the pipes are in good order to start with, you should get good results. I intend to have my CR750 pipes HPC coated. It beats high temp black paint hands down.
