Christ that's fugly :o ;D

If I was in the market for one of them it definitely wouldn't have a wheezy old CB motor in it ;) Not when one of my neighbours could easily build me a far better looking one with twin Blade engines in it, like his 8)

Well it looks quite well built to me, so, er, what's wrong with it? When I was about 14 years old I had a home built go-kart with a Royal Enfield 350 single cylinder engine and 4 speed gearbox, even with the little wheels it'd do 105 Mph, I know this because the PO/builder had a mate follow him along a country road at night and just before the kart left the road in a bend (it had terrible understeer at speed) and cleared a farm fence, the driver of the car saw 105 Mph on the speedo.

Of course I wanted "More Power" so I removed the 350 and fitted an RE 500 engine with an SU carb off a Mini, (on a home built manifold) and it went very well, although I never got to do a real "speed test" because none of my mates were old enough to hold a car license, ha ha!

Personally, I think that the mighty CB750 engine is more than capable of powering anything mechanical, and I'd be happy to own a CB750 powered wheelchair when I'm as old as some of you guys, ha ha! Cheers, "Mad Terry".  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

         Terry,

Shoulda known that you had something similar, in your past. ;D ::) I don't guess you'd happen to have some pictures of yours, would ya? Be nice to see some. I'll bet the 500 motor did push that kart!

Did anyone else notice the 42oz. tomato can on the end of the muffler?  Is that what professionals use?

the reason for the can was to keep water out of the muffler..common trick on a lot of vehicles that have vertical stack type exhausts. Just take the can off when you are ready to roll..more of a temp storage thing if anything.

G'Day Bill, sorry mate, back then the only camera in the house was owned and operated by my dad, and he didn't approve of me riding motorcycles or driving karts, so sadly, no pics. Cheers, Terry. ;D
