Topic: MoRide mileage & speed log?

Hey all,

I have mblue unit installed on a CB550 rebuild, and been working great. I do not have an motogadget speedometer attached.

When I have the trip logger on, mRide app on my android phone has done a good job logging my start and end points for every trip on the map, and the timeline. But the miles & speed appear as zeros. I would have assumed that the app can calculate those based on the map GPS and time, but it's not doing that. Am I missing something?

Probably have to do a speed calibration in the settings. Ride at a constant speed 50km/h? and honk the horn 3x quickly, hold a constant speed for about 10 seconds and the lights will flash to show its recording the speed.

I had a speedo so I knew how fast, otherwise you may have to follow a car to know the right speed before you initiate the process.
