CB750 seat on a 550?

Does anyone know which if any 750 seats fit on a 78 550? Thinking of putting an original flat seat on instead of the travelcade one it came with.

Just look for a 550 seat. The '77 550K seat will fit and is flatter than the '78 seat, which had a very slight step to it. And 550F seat will also fit, but you may also need to source a 550F grab rail too as the back of the seat is different. 750 seats and pre-77 550K seats are all too long.

For reference here is my former '77 550K (brown) and '75 550F (blue) with the stock seats

Hello! First post here, been lurking since June.

The PO of my ‘78 550K had installed the seat from a 1977 CB750A. He mentioned it required longer pins and had put together larger rubber seat stops underneath.  It’s relatively comfortable, but doesn’t close tightly. The overall length and fit look Ok - it’s a bit longer in the back. Will probably replace with a proper 550 seat.
