Hello to all SOHC members!
After a lifetime of mostly Italian motorcycles (I have been riding for 50+ years) and scooters, I am now the proud owner of a 1973 CB 350F.
Besides Italian bikes, such as Ducati singles, Moto Guzzi and Benelli twin, I have also owned a CB 400F 44 years ago when I lived in the UK, and a CJ360T twin after that. Both have given me many enjoyable times.
I bought the 350F last month because it is a classic model and because old age and general physical condition dictated that I switch to a much lighter lighter bike. The CB 350F is perfect for me. The bike is almost 90 percent original, with only the handlebar and the 4 into 1 exhaust being after market. My plan is to leave it as it is, but try to obtain the original 4 into 4 exhaust, whenever it becomes available on the market to buy it, that is.
I have just replaced the original tires and tubes, rebuilt the leaking original petcock, but I am struggling to correct a fuel leak from 1 or 2 carbs.
I have ordered the carb rebuild kits, fuel hose and related parts and look forward to enjoy riding the bike.
