I was thinking we should make a list of websites to avoid during this pandemic due to shutdowns or huge delays.  I thought of this after parts coming directly from Japan are coming much faster then parts coming from the states.  It is like people don't know how to deal with a pandemic here...oh wait..

So here is the first ones.

BikeBandit.com = Huge Delays. I have had parts sitting in processing for over a month and I spoke with someone in customer service and they 99% of calls are cancelling orders.

Partzilla.com = Huge Delays as well

added www.cruzinimage.net/

added Gauge Rebuilding Site

Also expect usps to take longer than normal. I heard they cancelled all overtime due to funding issues.

I noticed the gauge rebuilding site has no prices.

Partzilla, one of my favourites has suspended overseas orders for months now cause of delays.

I got a package from CruzinImage rather quick. Less than 2 weeks. Japan-Sweden. 10 days. They shipped July 10, available for pick up 20th.

I ordered something from Cruzinimage about 5 weeks ago - got the standard "As soon as the item is ready, I will guide you through shipping by e-mail. Thank you."   Waited two weeks and I finally emailed and asked if there was any tracking info and/or could I get some idea of when it might ship.  Got a reply that literally said, "I will reply by e-mail as soon as preparation is ready. Please wait."   Still nothing definitive.  Waited another week - finally sent an email that said if you can't give me any idea of when you might ship, I'll just cancel the order.  PayPal refund came that same day.

Don't mind a wait if I know what I'm in for and/or can plan for it, but having zero info and just waiting in the dark wasn't working for me.

I’ve been getting parts here in 7 working days. It’s entirely dependent on who the seller is using for shipping.

USPS is usually slower. eBay shipping has sightseeing USA included, minimum a week before lift off.
Fedex, DHL and UPS usually much quicker. Price another thing,  double price so USPS or eBay shipping is the choice to keep costs down.

Seconding the partzilla warning.

Dunno why they most shut down their online service department.  Been trying to return unneeded parts since the middle of May.
