What do you think of these plugs?

1971 CB500, 8000 miles, original everything (carbs cleaned, idle screws 2 1/8 turns out, points renewed, timing set with light at full advance, valves within spec). Runs great.
What do you think of these new plugs after a 25 mile ride? Seem a bit white to me, with black specs on the insulators. Is that just California summer gas? Or are they too lean?
Thanks in advance.

Very nice, keep 'm this way for the next 10.000miles and you're my hero!
Did it run good? Than don't touch it.

For a start the colour of the porcelain inner only tells you if they are the correct heat range, mixture is off the steel ent and ground electrode, to me the one on the left is a tad rich but not really worth worrying about yet

I like this site. Very informative

But the engine must be responsive when twisting. Too clean plugs can end up in a weaker middle range acceleration where most fun happen. Carbs need some extra fuel to cover for twisting throttle. Eventual acc pump do not last long, just a squirt.
No stinking rich when idling and slowly lift throttles.
Wait for green light for several minutes, then just release clutch and slowly roll on.

Thanks all. The
https://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki/Reading_spark_plugs
site was very interesting.
I have blued a set of pipes before when a bike was too lean, so I am being very cautious. The pipes are slightly golden but I think they were that way when I got the bike.

The good thing with stainless steel pipes is you can grind/polish off bluish pipes. After a few rides the bronze tone is back.
