Moderators
« on: February 15, 2007, 04:06:24 PM »
I think they do a very good job here. They set the standard and enforce that standard, so well done.

I have just backed out of another biker forum (no names, no pack-drill) and what a fiasco. People threatening each other, foul language, slights about posters sexuality, off topic, angry and just plain horrible.

Yeah, we've got a great group of moderators here. They've got a pretty full time job just keeping us straight. ;D ::) I've seen some places that sure seem our of control, and it ain't pretty.

This is the best forum I have found yet

Agreed on the moderation here. There are some forums where the mods have become little Stalins or Mao Tse Tungs editing or deleting almost anything they think borders on risque. Then there are the forums like TC10 mentioned above where its a free for all. This forums seems to pretty level keeled.

I attribute it both to efficient and fair moderation, and the more mature nature of the board...  in age, wisdom, knowledge and education.

Not many youngsters like me around to stir up the pot.  I guess most of us get intimidated away  ;D   ;D   ;D

The moderators do a great job for sure - keep it up guys, PLEASE!

I also need to comment of the great format and capabilities of the forum. Anyone whos belonged to a forum where all you can do is scroll and scroll through endless, non-related posts knows exaclty what im talking about. Keeping topics, such as techincal, FAQ's humor, etc. grouped is a godsend - as is having the database searchable by keyword. Whoever is responsible - thanks a bunch!
