Does anyone know if Shaun at Slingshot is still making custom s.s. brake hoses?  His email and phone are no longer working.

Boy, Shaun was a good resource.  I think I found what I need at Spiegler.  Not the same though as dealing with Shaun (for customization, that is)..

I am inching ever so closer.  My old motogpwerks stainless steel headers just came back from my polishing guy, Oscar.  Still in plastic wrap.  I wish I had a before picture to show you.  He did an amazing job - they looked like crap.

The only problem is, I lost a exhaust spigot along the way.  I emailed Chris at motogpwerks to buy another, but he never replied.  Anyone have an extra one to sell or know where I can pick one up?  Worst case, I can have one made.

Cheers.

Ouch.  Just pulled the trigger on a CMR box swingarm.

MC reservoir and 2375 clear was in the post.  Filled with DOT 4 and bleeded lines.  Least favorite thing to do on these bikes.  Leaving overnight to get rid of last tiny bubbles.

The quality is great on this swingarm.  Denis Curtis is great to work with.

Finally have a roller.  I had to travel to Madrid to get my daughter home after being there in COVID lockdown.  The rear wheel was waiting for me when I got back.  Now to install the exhaust.  I lost a spigot so I need to fabricate one.  Question:  After sending my 064a carbs to Rick West, a member, several months ago, he has ceased communicating and I have no idea if he is OK or the status of my carbs rebuild.  Does anyone have any insight on his situation?  This is not intended as a ding on him, just curious as to him being M.I.A.

Cheers.

Kevin,

The roller looks fantastic!

Were you in Madrid, Spain (vs. Madrid, New Mexico)?  How was the travel experience?  Assuming Spain, are they seemingly handling the COVID-19 situation "better" than us?

Espana.  Tight lockdown rules.  Market and medical visits only and tightly controlled.  From their balconies, people were cheering the medical workers as they left their shifts in the evenings.  It became a nightly ritual.  It is easing slightly, but there is still a lid on group gatherings.  A lot of people still not back to work.  My 12 yr old daughter flew in on her Spanish passport and although also a US citizen, a big hassle to get her out.

Thanks, Don - sincerely.  Indeed, priceless.  It was touch and go for a bit.  Had to get the US Embassy involved.  She has to be in quarantine here 14 days.

Nothing much . . . installing polished motogpwerks S.S. headers during in between time.  Sorry for hazy photo.
