Neutral switch ground
« on: August 10, 2020, 10:43:08 AM »
Hi guys, can anyone tell me where the neutral switch ground connects to? Someplace behind the front sprocket cover I suppose, but where exactly?

Thanks!

Neutral switch IS ground, the cable goes right to the idiot light, where the positive is always connected.

The neutral switch is under the engine so your sprocket cover need to come off

Route what?
The light green/red wire goes directly from the switch to the green light on the dash. That's it.

The neutral switch it connects to is under the engine on the left side by the frame rail a little north of where your kickstand mount is. It routes through the sprocket cover and under the engine to the switch. Under that cover should be a metal tab that is bent where the wires route around and through.
