Choke not making a difference

‘76 CB550, recently rebuilt carbs with UNI pods. Original jet sizes at the moment. Carbs bench synched with vacuum synchronizer in the mail. In the meantime, when I fire her up, there is no difference in idle with choke on or off. What gives?
