Installing torque converter
« on: August 12, 2020, 02:45:51 am »
Reinstalling torque converter - is there a specific way it has to fit on shaft? Or does the position not matter. There seems to be oil way on shaft and in Tc bearing but they don’t quite line up.

If there was a specific way to install it there would be alignment marks surely on the end of the shaft. i have got the Honda manual and it does'nt mention anything about alignment. Also i was just looking in the clymer manual regarding removal and installation, and there is no mention about alignment.

Thankyou just wanted to be sure. There was a hole presumably an oil way on shaft, hence why I wondered.

Ok, but still double check in any manuals that you may have.
