CB550 Engine Mount Info Needed
«

I recently picked up a set of 1975 CB550 mounting brackets and bolts (see attached pic) for my project.
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,180747.0.html
I have seen how the front brackets attach and have an idea of how they can be adapted to the Wards frame. The rear bracket and spacer – not so much. It also looks like the rear bracket holds another piece but I don’t know what it is.
What would help a lot would be a pic or 2 of the rear engine mount bolted in place. I searched a bit here but didn’t find anything.
Also, once I start devising the adapter(s) how level must the engine (front to rear) be to the ground? If not exactly level how far off can it be?
Thank you

Did you look at the pinned post at the top of this page named CB550 Assembly Manual? I am using it on my 74 550 project and I find it invaluable.

The extra piece on the rear bracket is for the clutch cable, also do not paint the backet either side of the big mounting hole or the ground cable will not connect properly

Thank you for directing me to the Assembly Manual it will be an excellent resource. That answered my question and several others too. I have more questions too so "I'll be baaack".
That one little bracket sure does a lot
I paint it but scrape off and put dielectric grease on the conducting surfaces.
