The original K2 headlight switch was OFF-LO-HI and the Start button just grounded to the housing/handlebars. It had a Yellow-Red wire for the Start circuit, which connected in the headlight to the main harness and ran back to the Start solenoid.
My K2 got that type of K2 RH switch. Ordered from 4-1. The K2 LH switch also from 4-1 has the fun buzzer disable when pressed which is handy.
I added the buzzer on my K2 build. Too easy to forget blinkers on. (First thing I removed from my K6 when bought it in the 70's
)
Some cars can react when I wait behind them at the red light with blinkers on, convertibles mostly.
I have recently bought a NOS EU RH switch that has P-LO-HI, no off button which explain the silly looking separate On-Off switch placed on the bar inside LH switch.
Parking is a good thing. My reflector has it, good for daylight or plan B.
I like Honda LH switch with Hi light flash when pressing sideways, horn pressing it inwards. Like my stock K6 had too.
