CB450s
« on: September 29, 2020, 10:04:23 PM »
As many of you will know the 450s normally a 44hp machine was also supplied with a 27HP version by way of a cam change! Very popular in Germany. Can anyone tell me if from the engine number the HP can be identified? If so where can I get the information on a bike with no papers? Engine number is PC17E 20004642

A de-tuned 450? I wonder why they would do that, I looked around and could not find anything.

I knew they de-tuned the SOHC4 CB650 in Germany, with shorter cam lobes, I didn't  realize that they did it to the 450s too.
