OEM seat

Good morning,
The seat on my 750K2 is beginning to crack along the embossed “stitching” at the edges of the cover, basically right beneath where I am sitting. I see that Honda still has an OEM seat available through the parts distributors. Has anyone installed one of these on their bike? Just wondering what these new OEM seats look like. Thanks.

An OEM seat will set you back quite a bit. There are several quality replacement covers that you can buy and easily install yourself. I replaced covers on my 550 and my buddy's 750 F3. They cost less than $50.

This is where the 550 cover came from. It looks very OEM and fit perfectly.

Here's the completed and installed seat. It came with a strap, but I didn't use it because I am tall and sit back on the seat. I reused the foam on the seat as it was in good shape and just added some thin batting material I picked up at the fabric store. No special tools are required.

Honda Parts Direct has it listed in their parts page for the K2. Partzilla has it listed as unavailable. Not sure if HPD page is in error? I am going to try to order one and see if they actually have it. If I remember correctly they also listed the rear fender for the SP-2 but did not really have it available. I will let you know what happens.

Highly doubt they have an NOS seat for sale.  Would bet it's a re-pop.

NOS seat will cost!
My NOS K6 seat costed me $495US (shipping+ customs+ vat) around 5  years ago, now much more.
K2 seat had different design than K6.

You may be right Steve-O, but I’m not really worried about that as this bike is a rider. If I get a repop that’s ok, I will re-cover the OEM while I ride it with the replacement. Thanks
