That is a beauty little 175. I too started with Honda twins. I had a couple cb350's that were beyond my mechanical skill level. They frustrated me to no end as I was already a decent car mechanic but these required a degree of precision and finesse that working on cars did not require. I found these cb350's so frustrating that they nearly ended my motorcycling career. But then I got a cb360 that was in much better mechanical condition and everything fell in the groove so to speak. And I was hooked. Until one day a friend stopped by with a cb750 that he had just purchased, offering me a chance to ride it. My mind was blown! I had no idea a motorcycle could be so smooth and powerful...and stabil! The amount of acceleration available seemed infinite. Just twist the throttle and let the motor sing. Eventually, I got my own and found them no harder to work on, just more numerous parts for the 4 cylinders. But the parts were physically larger and it seemed the engine was just more responssive to tuning changes. When it was right, you knew it!
